Growing Pains

Growing up can be Helpful and painful. When growing up you are maturing and getting smarter so you are kind of becoming a better person. But with age there will be more responsibility. I know some be that couldn't handle this responsbility. This is when growing can be painful like if you lose a loved one some people just cant accept change like others. I love Growing because if your not then your basically just putting your life on repeat.

Do you think there is a time to break the law?

Do you think there is a time to break the law? You might think that there should never be a time to break the law you may even think that it’s unethical. Sometimes its very necessary what if your life liberty and freedom was in jeopardy. Would you break the law in this case I would. Sort of like the social contract theory which states that the government will protect your rights and freedoms as long as you abide by the laws but if they are upholding their side of the deal you could break your side of the contract as I see it.

Well the Americans rights were not being upheld. The British king was unrightfully taxing the colonist and taking advantage of them. The British first put the stamp act into affect which was a ridicules tax on stamps because the British being in debt. They then ratified the Intolerable Acts which was a another tax on tea and a number of imported goods. To make their own government that would uphold their rights the colonist declared independence from the British in order to not be taken advantage of. I think the colonists were absolutely justified in breaking the law. We know have the United States as a result of this whole situation.
In the 20th Century the law was broken again plenty of times. I remember when Rodney king who was a taxi driver who was speeding was caught by the police tazzered and beaten by four policemen while six others were just watching. His Life was being toyed with by being beat so I feel that he had a right to break the law. The news of triggered the Los Angeles riots of 1992. By the time the police, the US Army, the Marines and the National Guard restored order, the casualties included 53 deaths, 2,383 injuries, and more than 7,000 fires, damages to 3,100 businesses, and nearly $1 billion in financial losses. Smaller riots occurred in other cities such as Las Vegas and Atlanta. On May 1, 1992, the third day of the L.A riots. The citizens of L.A. was breaking the law to show the LAPD that they would not stand for this outrage. Even though the riots may have been satisfying to some I still feel as if they were not justified.

Was the Boston Massacre necessary

was this really necessary
People of authority back then took advantage of there power. solders started attack innocent people who were unarmed. the Boston Massacre showed me that the British had absolutely no respect for the colonies. They should not even have felt theartend because the civilans were unarmed and were at a disadvantage. I was surprised when i read that there were young people who made a stand it showed me that people back then were really united.
